The second part of the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront tour takes you on a ferry to Robben Island. Situated about seven miles off the coast of Cape Town, this island was home to Nelson Mandela as he was held prisoner for 18 years. Since then the prison has been converted into a museum. Once on the island, you can explore by bus and then take a walking tour through the prison.
